Jon Stockman Esq.

Jon Stockman, Esq. is a seasoned state and federal court litigator with a background in business contract and employment disputes. Jon has devoted the greater part of his career to employee side employment litigation, appearing on behalf of clients in the New York State courts, the federal district courts, and before the administrative agencies that hear discrimination and wage claims. His matters have involved wrongful and retaliatory discharge, sexual harassment, discriminatory harassment, hostile work environment claims, and the recovery of unpaid wages and overtime under the New York Labor Law and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Before opening his own practice in 2015, he practiced at an employee side employment firm, at an employer side firm that also provided human resources consulting, and at a New York City general practice where he handled commercial litigation, foreclosure defense, corporate matters, and landlord and tenant disputes.

Jon is member of our litigation team and counsels the firm's small business clients on employment practices, separation agreements, and restrictive covenants.

Jon holds a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal, and a B.A. from Binghamton University, which he completed summa cum laude.
